In this episode of The Natural High Club, I talk to the Director of Miami Burger, Tom Bursnall, about Veganism, CoVid, DMT, Astral Projection and how to work remotely from a Florida Beach. This is an important interview for those interested in animal welfare.
We’ve never experienced anything quite like this in our lifetimes and through this uncertainty the hope is that we, as incumbents of planet earth, make crucial changes. But despite everything that has happened there still remains a feeling that any doomsday predictions are alarmist.
But we at the Natural High believe that we are at the most important crossroads of human history. The wolves of ecological disaster are at the door. If we don’t make systemic changes to the way we use plant earth then we may well be looking at end of days in the next 100 years.
For example, according to a report in The Guardian, humans have wiped out 60% of the animal kingdom since 1970. This time scale is almost incomparable with the last great extinction event which happened when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Dinosaurs died out much slower than we are killing ourselves and the planet with industrialisation, pollution and our treatment of animals.
But even these figures don’t scare many who think that humankind has some kind of divine right to inhabit the planet indefinitely and regardless of how they treat the environment. The sixth great extinction – the anthropocene – is upon us. It can either be the great unifier of human history, where we come together to solve the plant’s ills. Or it can be the last nail in the coffin of humankind. It’s our choice, but we have to make huge changes in the way we live our lives in the macro and the micro. This and many other topics are discussed in this podcast.
